The newest volume of the Naval Law Review is noteworthy, with a nice balance of subject matters as well as seniority of authors.* *The quality of this volume reinforces that the Army's claim that its journal is "the premier" journal for the subject matter is spurious--especially when the Military Law Review has been known to suppress articles that present viewpoints not favored by the Pentagon. 1. Credible reports of article acceptances at MLR rescinded after "management" learned of author/topic.

1. One man's editorial discretion is another man's suppression of disfavored viewpoints. I'd need more information. Leave a Reply. |
